Heroes Campaign Returns for 5th Straight Year!
Join Captain America and the Community Blood Bank Team for the
2008 Hometown Heroes Campaign. Previously, the top five communities
holding blood drives have been recognized. However, this
year everyone wins!
Depending on the success of the blood drive and meeting registration
or collection goals, every community is eligible to receive emergency
equipment funding for their local fire department and/or emergency
responders.
The need for blood is every day and summer months tend to be most
challenging as schedules fill with vacation plans, holiday getaways
and sports. Still, the need for blood does not take a break. That
is why the Community Blood Bank encourages you to keep the blood
supply strong and support your community’s emergency responders
this summer by donating blood at a Hometown Heroes blood drive.
